these are one piece and handcrafted from pine or western red cedar, sanded and ready for your decorating. These soap decks also look great just the way they are.  Although the soap decks are sanded, we do not attempt to eliminate all of the natural pits, worm holes or defects of the wood itself. Wood is a natural living and breathing commodity and is a thing of true beauty in its natural form. The mineral oil applied to the cedar decks slightly darkens the color, but also brings out highlights and beauty not otherwise seen.
